Have been a customer of their Grid (gs) product for quite a few years. Since being taken over by GoDaddy their reliability as deteriorated to such an extent that my WordPress websites are taking over 30 seconds to start loading and I am seeing constant downtime, usually "500 internal server errors".
Their support has become a complete joke - they take over 24 hours to reply to a simple request, and the gist of their response is almost entirely "not out fault, must be your code".
They are not the cheapest, by a long shot and, although I don`t believe that cost is all important, to be spending as much as I do with them, I expect a far better service than this.
Would recommend that people run a mile!

from last 2 years, Media temple Grid Service and Dedicated Virtual Server was using by our company. In the grid server only, our company was having 90 clients and most of them complained that their websites were hacked again and again. So, I forward their complaint to the Media temple, and the company rep revert that they were not responsible for this. So, I request them to please help us to resolve this issue, then they asked me to pay $179 but without any guarantee.If any problem arises in the context of Dedicated Virtual Server and asked them for their assistance, they don’t support at all and always said the same thing that please read our policy carefully. Try to avoid this provider.
From last several years, I was using Mediatemple.net. As per my exp, I found that it is an exceptional and best web hosting service.My four websites are hosted on the DV service of the business class. DV services are scalable, i.e. it can meet the requirement of your resources, if you want more resources, and they can increase by the provider. So if there are any changes made in the website then company will upgrade your old server to handle the same.To manage the server, Plesk software is used by the provider which is good and also offer benefits such as easy installation of customer accounts and Word press.They have improved their services now by offering the tools which are used to handle the domain names.I have tried many web hosting platforms but Media temple.net is the best.
I heard so many good things about Media Temple and thus I changed my old web host and join the Media temple.net. The payment has been made was $4.99 per month. For my small web applications, my database has been configured by me. So, I try to reach their support team and I got the revert from them that the features were not available in a web hosting environment. But in a web host, I am having the same features which are 1/4 of the price. So, I asked for their help and they revert that I required paying more amount than I was paying to my previous web hosting provider at an affordable price i.e. only $40/month to avail the services of DV.
Media Temple`s gs plan was used by me from last one year and it is consider by me as the best clustered hosting products provider. It is not necessary that you should be a tech-geek for using their hosting services. Their supporting staff members are just too good and to resolve the issues, they are available 24hrs a day also. You will get the worth of your money. The only issue which I am facing with the company was their uptime. And that was also solved very quickly and now I am working with the provider in a comfortable zone. I would like to recommend the hosting services to anyone who is looking for a reliable hosting with good support.
Media Temple is an amazing provider. The products of the VPS web hosting were never failed and are very quick and reliable. Their agreements are mainly non-contract and their level of support was superb and very helpful.
From last 3-4 years, I was using (gs) Media temple. If you are in the need of Linux, then first preference will be given to the Media temple. I am thinking that I will get the option of windows hosting. The Panel they offer is very useful. The level of support they offer is also great.
This is the worst hosting provider I have ever seen in my life. Earlier I was using other web host company services but then I heard so many good things for the Media temple and I change my web host. And the provider without my permission and providing any info, make some changes and deleted my website, so for the backup I asked them and got revert from their side that back up is not possible.Please do not use Media temple service.
Media Temple offers excellent customer as well as technical support. They answer all the questions max within 24 hours. Their admin is very effective and efficient. Media Temple is affiliated with the Virb, which is a website service which allows you to develop your website at free of cost and to pay only ten dollar to the Virb in the form of web hosting charges or fees. I really like their patience like when I called them in the past, sometimes I shout on them very badly, but they listen with full patience and not revert back to me. Overall, the hosting services are good.
